It took credit for the drone strike in Russia’s Tatarstan region, which is located more than 1,300 kilometers (807 miles) from the border between Ukraine and Russia. This happened around 05:45 GMT (02:45 GMT). Shortly after, the same drone is seen turning left in another video as loud air raid sirens overpower the sound of the propeller. A few seconds later, the drone leaps from the sky and crashes into the pipe-covered tower of a Russian oil refinery, causing it to instantly explode.
For the first time since October, the price of barrel reached above $89 per barrel. According to the source, the purpose of the strike was to reduce Russia’s oil export earnings.
