Refinery A Russian drone attacked a facility 1,300 kilometers away, injuring 12 people

It took credit for the drone strike in Russia’s Tatarstan region, which is located more than 1,300 kilometers (807 miles) from the border between Ukraine and Russia. This happened around 05:45 GMT (02:45 GMT). According to media sources, according to Ukrainian military intelligence, the attack in Yelabuga resulted in “production facilities being largely destroyed” and 12 people injured. A video of a light aircraft modified to fly unmanned before exploding over a building in Yelabuga and throwing flames into the air went viral shortly after the attacks. According to a military intelligence source in Ukraine, the main Tanneko refining complex was attacked, resulting in a fire.

Shortly after, the same drone is seen turning left in another video as loud air raid sirens overpower the sound of the propeller. A few seconds later, the drone leaps from the sky and crashes into the pipe-covered tower of a Russian oil refinery, causing it to instantly explode.
For the first time since October, the price of barrel reached above $89 per barrel. According to the source, the purpose of the strike was to reduce Russia’s oil export earnings.
